Ginger appeared on our territory at the beginning of the XVII century, when merchants brought this oriental spice from distant India. At home, this plant was known not only as a seasoning for various dishes, but also as an excellent tonic, cleansing and anti-aging agent. There are many popular recipes for using ginger root, and the most popular of them are associated with weight loss and getting rid of cellulite.

With salt and spices
Shredded or powdered ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt are mixed in equal proportions. Dilute the resulting mixture with a little warm water to a thick cream.
Mix 1 tsp. ginger powder and 2 tbsp. natural honey.
With coconut oil
Mix 1 tbsp. ground ginger with 50 ml of unrefined coconut oil and warm over low heat for about 7 minutes. Strain and add 50 ml of almond oil. After cooling, add 150 g of brown sugar, 50 g of sea salt and 5 drops of orange essential oil.
Important! If a strong burning sensation appears on the skin when using scrub with chopped fresh ginger, you can replace it with a root in a dry powder form.
Mode of application
In order for the scrub to bring maximum benefit, the following rules should be observed:
- Use home scrub after an evening shower on steamed skin and no more than 2 times a week.

Peel and finely chop a piece of root about 3 cm in size. Add a glass of chopped spinach and 0.25 glasses of fresh mint, 2 tbsp. honey and mashed banana. Mix everything well, apply on face for 15 minutes and rinse off with a little warm water.
Take 1 tbsp. ground seasoning, add 1.5 tbsp. honey and 1 tbsp. fresh yogurt, and orange juice. To mix everything. Apply a thin layer on the face and neck for 15–20 minutes. Rinse with a little warm water and gently pat the body with a towel.

Important! With dry skin, it is recommended to add 1 liter of fresh milk to the bath with ginger root, and for sensitive - 3 tbsp. bran.
Take 100 g of fresh root, wash well and, without peeling, grate. Pour boiling water over a liter and leave on low heat for 15 minutes.
